Key Responsibilities
The Contract Administrator is responsible for managing contract and commercial functions across the project lifecycle. The role ensures compliance with contractual obligations, effective cost control, accurate documentation, and collaboration with stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
- Prepare and maintain procurement programs, tender documentation, and purchasing schedules
- Draft, review, and administer contracts and subcontractor agreements
- Manage project expenses, materials procurement, and sure cost saving efficiency and performance is maintained
- Monitor, track, and report on project costs, risks, claims, and opportunities
- Support contract negotiations and ensure alignment with legal, commercial, and project requirements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records, registers, and contractual correspondence
- Ensure compliance with contractual, statutory, safety, quality, and environmental requirements
- Prepare, review, and issue commercial reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Assist in dispute resolution and claims management processes
- Conduct contract performance reviews and provide recommendations for improvement
- Attend site meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and manage related documentation
- Provide advice to project teams on contract obligations, commercial risks, and compliance matters
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive performance and achieve project outcomes
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in contract administration or project management
- Demonstrated understanding of contracts, agreements, procurement, and cost control processes
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external stakeholders
- Commercially aware, detail-focused, and proactive in identifying risks and opportunities
- Commitment to continuous improvement and sound risk management practices
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $93,000.00 – $96,000.00 per year
