We're now looking for a 
Podcast Producer
 to join our team and bring this vision to life.

The Role

As Podcast Producer, you will be the driving force behind the production of high-quality podcasts for both Westend Podcast and our clients. You'll manage the full production process—from planning, recording, and editing, to distribution and promotion. This is a hands-on role for someone who is passionate about storytelling, has technical expertise, and loves working with people in a creative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, produce, and edit podcast episodes for Westend Podcast and client projects
• Manage recording sessions in our Werribee studio (and occasionally on location)
• Collaborate with hosts, guests, and clients to shape content and storytelling
• Handle audio editing, mixing, and mastering to deliver professional sound quality
• Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery
• Coordinate distribution across major podcast platforms (Spotify, Apple Podcasts, etc.)
• Support marketing efforts with promotional clips, audiograms, and reels
• Stay on top of podcasting trends, tools, and best practices to continuously innovate

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in podcast production or audio/video media production
• Proficiency in audio editing software (e.g., Audition, Pro Tools, GarageBand, or similar)
• Strong storytelling, communication, and project management skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a creative team
• A passion for content creation, entrepreneurship, and community building
• Bonus: experience with video podcasting, live streaming, or digital marketing
