Junior Joinery Administrator

About the role

This is a full-time opportunity for a Junior Joinery Administrator & Data Entry Clerk to join the dynamic team at Cohesive Cabinetry in Pooraka, SA. In this role, you will be responsible for providing essential administrative and data entry support to the Joinery department, playing a vital part in the smooth running of the business. This role is ideally suited to recent school-leavers looking for a kick-start into employment and whom have a keen interest in Design, Data, Technology and the ever-evolving Artificial Intelligence tools available to business.

What you'll be doing

1. Accurately entering and updating customer, job and inventory data into the company's systems
2. Assisting with the preparation of job orders, invoices and other key documents
3. Providing general administrative support to the Joinery team, including filing, printing and photocopying
4. Answering and directing phone enquiries, and liaising with customers as needed
5. Ensuring all data is maintained in an organised and efficient manner
6. Supporting the team with any other ad-hoc administrative tasks as required

What we're looking for

1. Strong data entry and administrative skills, with an excellent eye for detail
2. Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers
3. Experience in a similar data entry or administrative role, ideally within the cabinet making or construction industry
4. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word
5. A proactive, organised approach to work and the ability to multitask effectively
6. A keen interest in continual learning and development
7. Valid Australian work visa or residency status required for this position
