Position Purpose:

As an All-Rounder at Lukumades Canberra, you'll have the opportunity to work across a variety of roles, from providing exceptional customer service to crafting high-quality coffee, preparing cold beverages, preparing our signature desserts, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet customers with a smile, take orders accurately, and provide a friendly, efficient service to ensure a positive experience.
  • Beverages & Coffee Making: Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, to a high standard. Maintain cleanliness and functionality of the coffee machine and station.
  • Dessert Preparation: Prepare and cook our signature doughnuts and toppings with precision, following recipes to ensure quality and presentation.
  • Cleaning & Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store, ensuring the kitchen, coffee station, and customer areas are kept spotless. Adhere to hygiene and safety standards at all times.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with your teammates to ensure smooth and efficient operations, contributing to a positive, team-oriented atmosphere.
  • Cash Handling: Process customer payments accurately, handle cash, and maintain a balanced register.
  • Stock & Inventory: Assist with stock management, ensuring supplies are replenished and notifying management of any shortages.

Essential Knowledge and Experience:

  • Coffee-Making Skills: Experience in coffee preparation is preferred, but not essential – we're happy to train the right person
  • Customer Service Skills: A friendly, professional approach with strong communication skills and a passion for delivering excellent customer experiences.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to multitask effectively while ensuring product quality, consistency, and cleanliness are always maintained.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Team Player: A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
