About the role

Reporting to the Head of Security & Profit Protection, you will be responsible for delivering national security and profit protection programs for your state. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive security initiatives, maintain compliance, and enhance site security infrastructure.

Your contributions

Security & Profit Protection Program Delivery

  • Implement & oversee national security & profit protection programs
  • Continuously review and enhance security measures to mitigate risks & improve profitability

Security Risk Assessments & Serious Incident Response

  • Conduct security risk assessments both reactively after serious security incidents and proactively on a scheduled basis as required by the national Security Risk Assessment program
  • Engage contractors to obtain quotes for recommended security works and manage the contractor until approved works are completed

Training Delivery & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Deliver Master Class Training Programs on security best practices, fraud prevention, and profit protection strategies

Compliance & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor and assess security programs' effectiveness, providing recommendations for improvements
  • Stay informed on emerging threats, industry trends, and technological advancements in security and profit protection.

Operational Support & Advisory

  • Act as the first point of contact and provide support for store teams, QSR's, Regional Managers & State Managers on security & profit protection related matters

What we are looking for

  • Retail Loss prevention experience (or alternatively broad retail experience in a variety of roles)
  • Good literacy, numeracy, and written/verbal communication skills
  • Analytical ability and investigation experience
  • A good understanding of retail systems & processes
  • Experience with retail security systems (CCTV, alarms, physical security)
  • Good time management and prioritization skills
  • Internal & external criminal investigation experience
