The Group Credit Structuring (GCS) Business Platforms Squad plays a pivotal role in delivering scalable, resilient, and customer-centric technology solutions that support the bank's credit structuring and small business banking operations.

Your Role
In this role, you will be responsible for the management, support, and enhancement of property-related applications, ensuring they meet the needs of the business and operate efficiently. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, troubleshooting issues, and implementing improvements to optimise system performance. In summary, you may expect to:

• Cultivate strategic vendor partnerships, ensuring alignment with project timelines and deliverables, while driving successful execution and achieving business objectives.
• Oversee end-to-end management of major application upgrades, engaging relevant capabilities, rules, and architecture, and work with external vendors to deliver.
• Identify opportunities to enhance and optimize property systems to better meet business needs and ensure alignment with industry best practices.
• Work with the Product Owner and Business Analyst to identify project delivery issues and risks, and lead mitigation strategies, and escalations where necessary.
• Lead engagements with stakeholders and change management to identify impacts to business processes because of system or application changes.
• Evaluate effectiveness of crew tools, processes, and methodologies, and make recommendations for continuous improvement and optimize processes and operations.

Your Skills and Experience

• High level of expertise working with bespoke property and building access applications such as HID SAFE, Gallagher Command Centre, Vecos Smart Lockers, Manhattan etc.
• Experience in implementing API solutions and streamlining processes under the appropriate organisational frameworks and guidelines.
• Capability to engage in technical discussions with vendors, solution architects and developers, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with business-focused teams.
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional business and technology teams, providing strategic consulting, overseeing build and testing processes, managing system implementations, and delivering comprehensive product support.
• Previous experience as an Application Specialist or similar role within Property/Building Access Management and operating under DevSecOps advantageous.
• Expertise in API solutions (REST API, Graph API), Advance Messaging Queuing Protocol, SDLC, IT Infrastructure and mobile application development lifecycle within the Financial Services industry is highly preferred.Proven experience working within agile teams, demonstrating a strong understanding of agile methodologies and practices.
