About the role

Become an integral part of the team at Sue's Burgers and Shakes' as our new Assistant Kitchen Manager. This full-time position based in Carindale, Queensland, will see you supporting the Kitchen Manager in overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations. You'll play a key role in ensuring our customers receive a consistently excellent dining experience.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting the Kitchen Manager with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
  • Monitoring and maintaining high standards of food preparation, presentation and service
  • Implementing and enforcing strict health and safety protocols
  • Coordinating and supervising kitchen staff to optimise productivity and efficiency
  • Providing training and development opportunities for kitchen team members
  • Collaborating with the front-of-house team to deliver an outstanding customer experience

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a kitchen management or supervisory role within the hospitality industry
  • Strong working knowledge of food safety, hygiene and kitchen operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a team
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain a positive attitude
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
  • Passion for the hospitality industry and a keen eye for detail
