About the role

Grassroots Early Learning Centre is seeking a Full Time Educator.

Position: Full Time Educator & Casual position.

Must be available to work Monday through Friday from 6:30am to 6pm.

What you'll be doing

  • Working with a team to help plan, prepare and implement the curriculum and activities aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Building positive relationships with children, families and the wider community
  • Ensuring a safe, clean and well-organised learning environment
  • Collaborating with the wider team to continuously improve the centre's operations and offerings
  • Engaging children with our animals: Dwarf Goats, Guinea Pigs, Chickens and the occasional visit from our Dog

What we're looking for

  • Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards)
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of child development, pedagogy and the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and wellbeing
  • Current Working with Children Check and First Aid certification
  • Child Protection
