Job Description

Site Supervisor required for commercial construction company.

Brisbane Building Services is undergoing growth and is looking for an enthusiastic Site Supervisor to join our team where you will be responsible for all aspects of building and construction including:

Minimum of 2 years' experience supervising commercial construction projects with specific experience in the finishing of projects. (Leading hand or finishing foremen considered)

DUTIES:

Co-ordination of subcontractors

Liaising with relevant project Clients & Stakeholders

Planning projects by doing weekly schedule in accordance with programmes

Organizing work in orderly sequence

Monitoring quality of workmanship

Setting out with Subcontractors

Review and ensuring compliance with standards & documented Specifications

Overview and ensuring EOHS standards are maintained

Continual improvement of processes

Co-operating & communicating with BBS contract administration staff

To be considered for this role you need to have most of the following requirementsProven experience managing sub-contractors to ensure delivery of projects within specific timelines

Excellent attention to detail

Work hands on when it's necessary

Understand the importance of maintain and building friendly, constructive relationships with trades and stakeholders

Have a trade or construction related qualification

Excellent time management and organisation skills along with the ability to motivate people

The ability to identify defects or problems provocatively and take the necessary actions to rectify or prevent problems efficiently

Outstanding leadership, communication, organisational and planning abilities with a passion for working in a fast-paced environment

You must be eligible to work in Australia & reside in the Brisbane/Gold Coast metro area to apply for this position.Training will be provided in OH&S, MS Project, Xl Word etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
