The Role:

We are currently looking for Forklift Operators to join the team located in Somersby. Our client is the leading supplier of vertically cast steel-reinforced concrete pipes in Australia. There are day and afternoon shifts 6am to 3pm and 2.50pm to midnight with some Saturday work.

Your main duties will include:

  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport pipes, concrete moulds, and other heavy materials within the facility
  • Ensure safe and secure handling of awkward and heavy items such as concrete moulds and long-length pipes
  • Conduct daily pre-operational safety checks and routine maintenance on forklifts to ensure optimal performance
  • Work closely with production and manufacturing teams to ensure timely delivery of materials to designated locations
  • Report equipment faults, damage, or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.

We are ideally looking for someone with previous Forklift experience, however, we are also open to candidates who have recently obtained their licence and are willing to be trained and expand on their skills. If you come from a warehouse , production or logistics environment, have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, commitment to safety and are reliable, then we want to hear from you
