Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Pile Rig Operator to join our team. In this role, you will operate machinery and plant equipment on construction sites, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and in line with project requirements. You'll play a key role in the execution of our projects, contributing to the success of the team and the overall project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a variety of pile rigs.
  • Perform pre-start checks and routine maintenance to ensure the safe and efficient operation of plant equipment.
  • Work closely with the onsite foreman to execute daily operations and meet project timelines.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ensure plant equipment is properly maintained and report any mechanical issues to the onsite foreman.
  • Adhere to all relevant environmental and regulatory guidelines on-site.
  • Keep accurate records of machinery usage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to support the smooth flow of operations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience operating pile rigs in civil construction or similar industries.
  • Valid operator tickets/certifications
  • Strong understanding of construction site safety practices and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions.
  • Be able to perform manual labour if needed.
  • A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
  • White Card (Construction Induction) required.
  • A current driver's license (preferred).
