Hunt & Hunt is seeking a highly organised and experienced Legal Secretary / Paralegal to join our team. Experience with Family Law would be very helpful.
This role will require you to collaborate closely with other secretaries and legal practitioners providing administrative, secretarial and client management support.
We provide training to become a Paralegal if you are the right person.
About the role
- Dictaphone typing, formatting and editing documents, including preparation of legal documents, correspondence and cost agreements.
- Knowledge of Federal Circuit and Family Law forms including filing documents via Commonwealth Court's Portal helpful.
- Answering phones, diary and email management including arranging appointments, liaising with clients, barristers and external parties
- Administration support for the partner, team and clients
- File/matter management
- Monthly billings
- General office administration and other ad hoc duties
About you
- Professional who loves working within a collaborative and supportive environment
- High attention to detail and time management skills
- Advanced MS Office skills including fast and accurate typing
- High degree of diplomacy and discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and assist with competing deadlines
