Solicitor | Family Law | 2+ PAE

Pemberton Robertson is a boutique law practice in Perth looking for a Solicitor with a passion for family law.

We are a small, supportive, close-knit team, where workplace culture and work/life balance is paramount, including closing hours of 4:30pm from Monday - Thursday and 4:00pm on Friday. The firm has two directors with combined experience in family law of 37 years, an associate lawyer, an office manager, two legal assistants, a paralegal, a bookkeeper and an office assistant. The directors work hard to provide an open, collaborative team environment where all staff are very well supported to thrive in their roles.

We are seeking a 2+ year PAE solicitor to take over from one of our associates who is relocating out of Western Australia. However, we will consider applicants whose experience is less or greater than 2+ years PAE. You must have family law experience.

Requirements:

  • Current practising certificate or ability to obtain one; and
  • Family law experience.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience in managing their own file load.

This role is perfect for you if you are:

  • can work autonomously when needed (although the doors are always open when support is required);
  • able to manage your time effectively;
  • detail oriented;
  • an excellent communicator;
  • friendly and team oriented.

Remuneration will be commensurate with experience, but an attractive salary package will be offered to the successful candidate with a commencement date in late January 2026.
