My Word Health is looking for a Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join our passionate team. The successful candidate can choose to work in Albury Wodonga and/or Wangaratta Opportunities to include work from home days and rostered days off are also available.

The Role

The role of a Speech Pathologist at My Word Health is to provide assessment and intervention to a paediatric caseload by working closely with families, schools, and other health professionals to meet client goals. Services can be provided in our clinics, the child's school, the family's home, or out in the community. Collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team of Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Key Workers, Social Workers, and Allied Health Assistants helps us the provide a wide service option to better serve our clients. We care about connecting people to their world through communication and are committed to providing high quality services in rural areas so that no child is left behind, no matter where they live.

  • Tertiary Qualification in Speech and Language Pathology

  • Current Certified Practicing Membership of Speech Pathology Australia

  • Current NSW and VIC Working With Children Check

  • Valid National Police Check

  • NDIS Mandatory Training Certificate

  • Current Drivers Licence and reliable car

  • Current First Aid Certificate

  • Excellent organisation and time management skills

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve outcomes and utilise evidence-based practice

  • Professional, warm and empathetic approach to clients
