We here at Goosies are looking for our next Pastry Chef Legend. If you have a key interest in Pastry and Dessert creation then we are the place to start your next adventure.

Your primary key role is developing high-quality, handcrafted pastries and desserts for our café and Bistro and function centre while back filling and assisting our Chefs in their day to day operations of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, tarts, cookies, and other baked goods with precision and consistency.
  • Collaborate with management and wider team on new product development.
  • Ensure equipment and kitchen area is maintained to a high standard.
  • Minimum 2+ years of professional pastry experience (bakery or patisserie Formal qualifications are essential).
  • Display strong technical skills
  • Ability to follow recipes with precision, while also contributing creatively, and cost management
  • A proactive, adaptable team player with excellent time management skills.
  • Maintain the highest levels of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Available Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

    We are seeking an experienced and passionate Pastry Chef to join our kitchen team. Reporting to the Head Chef, you will play a key role in preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes across our Bistro, Café, and function catering. You will ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met, assist in menu innovation, and help maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
