Kangaroo Flat Swimming Club (KFSC)

KFSC, located at Bendigo's Gurri Wanyarra Wellbeing Centre, is a thriving swim club dedicated to fostering the growth and development of swimmers, both physically and socially. We are currently looking for a Swim Squad Coach to deliver our contemporary squad program and uphold high coaching standards.

Position Overview

As a Swim Squad Coach (Assistant) at KFSC, you will be responsible for conducting effective coaching sessions in line with the squad schedule. This casual or part-time role offers opportunities for professional growth and development as a coach in a welcoming and inclusive team environment. The assistant coach will be supported by our full-time Head Coach, and work together within our coaching team.

Requirements

  • Ability to work weekdays, afternoons (4.00 – 7.00pm) and some mornings

  • Qualified Swim Instructor (AUSTSWIM/Swim Australia/LSV) or willing to undergo training

  • Working with Children's Check

  • National Police Clearance

  • Competitive swimming background (desired)

  • Coaching/Swim Teaching experience (preferred)

KFSC is a non-profit club committed to delivering quality swim squad programs. We have a diverse team of swimmers ranging from 7 years old to master swimmers. As part of our team, you will have access to specialised training tools, support from experienced coaches, and development opportunities to advance your career in the industry.
