Our Client:

We are working in partnership with an Australian financial organisation for multiple ServiceNow Configuration Manager opportunities.

About the role

You would be involved in:

  • Configure and manage ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring accurate asset and service mapping.
  • Implement and optimize auto-discovery to enhance real-time tracking of IT assets.
  • Define and enforce CMDB governance policies and best practices.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to align CMDB configurations with operational needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve configuration issues, ensuring system integrity.
  • Oversee and deliver training sessions to upskill the existing team on CMDB management and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with ITIL processes and maintain configuration data quality.

To be successful for the role, you would ideally be:

  • Proven experience as a Configuration Manager specializing in ServiceNow CMDB.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow Discovery and IT asset management.
  • Experience in CMDB governance, data integrity, and process automation.
  • Ability to train and mentor teams on CMDB best practices and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a strategic and detail-oriented approach.
  • ITIL certification (preferred but not mandatory).
