McEvoy Mitchell Racing is heading to the Gold Coast with a select team targeting the 2026 Magic Millions, and we are looking for an experienced trackwork rider to join us for the duration of the preparation.

What we're after:

  • Strong, capable rider with proven trackwork experience
  • Confident handling a range of horses and providing feedback
  • Reliable, professional, and comfortable with early morning starts
  • Based on the Gold Coast or able to commute

What we're offering:

  • Two-month contract: 26 November – 19 January
  • Consistent morning trackwork with a well-educated team of horses
  • Optional afternoon work, race attendance and Sunday hours.
  • Consideration for future Queensland campaigns throughout the year
