Office Manager

We're Advanced Powder Coating & Sand Blasting – the trusted local name in blasting, coatings, and now hydro dipping. And we're building something bigger: Notorious Customs, a new division dedicated to fabrication, car restoration, and custom builds.
To keep this machine running smooth, we're on the hunt for a sharp, organized, and car-mad Office Manager / Customer Coordinator to run the front of shop and keep the back end humming.
About the RoleYou'll be the first point of contact for our customers – tradies, businesses, and car guys alike. You'll keep the admin tight, the phones answered, and the workflow organized so the workshop can focus on what we do best.
Your day-to-day will include:- Answering calls, emails, and welcoming customers.
- Preparing and sending quotes, following up jobs, and scheduling workflow.
- Invoicing, receipting, and chasing up accounts.
- Ordering consumables and supplies.
- Updating socials and website with job pics and updates (don't worry, we've got the content – you just post it).
- Keeping the office organized and running like clockwork.
- Organization skills – you love a tidy system and can keep plates spinning.
- Customer confidence – you're happy to talk to tradies, car guys, and business clients without getting rattled.
- Industry vibe – you don't need to be a mechanic, but you should love cars, customs, or at least not mind hanging out in a workshop full of steel, paint, and horsepower.
- Admin know-how – basic invoicing/bookkeeping skills (Xero, MYOB, or similar).
- Self-starter – someone who can take the reins without needing micromanagement.
Be part of a growing automotive business that's serious about becoming a one-stop custom shop.
Work in a workshop that's as much about lifestyle and pride as it is about coatings and restorations.
Variety every day – from trade jobs to full custom builds.
A long-term role with real progression as the business expands.
A team that values turning up, getting stuck in, and taking pride in the finished product.
How to Apply
Send us your resume and a short cover note about why you'd fit into the automotive/custom industry. Bonus points if you include a pic of your car, bike, or a project you've worked on – we want someone who gets the culture.
