THE ROLE

Working in a fast moving environment, you will perform a variety of tasks on plastic extrusion, injection moulders and fabrication machinery.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Based at Portarlington, on the Bellarine Peninsular, this part time role will report to the Maintenance Manager and will be part of our small but highly effective maintenance team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

.1. Carry out mechanical repairs to equipment and facilities as directed.

.2. Be compliant with and participate in safe work processes such as 'stop and think's,

.3. Participate in SOP development, toolbox meetings and hazard reporting.

.4. Maintain an excellent standard of housekeeping.

.5. Perform preventative and reactive type mechanical maintenance work on

plant and equipment to ensure that it is safe to operate, available for operation when required and meets all regulatory/compliance requirements

.6. Ensure that all appropriate documentation is completed for the relative activities that are performed.

.7. Actively participate in all lean manufacturing/maintenance activities such as spare parts management, improvement projects, etc.

.8. Work with site personnel to achieve required quality of production outputs.

ABOUT YOU

.1. Trade Qualification in Mechanical Fitting/Boiler Maker/Fitter and Turner.

.2. Work experience within a process manufacturing environment team.
