ELC Administration - Part time (0.6FTE) 8.00am to 4.00pm Monday, Thursday and Friday

Bold Park Community School (BPCS) is an independent school, with a philosophy based on social constructivist principles inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach. Our school caters for children from Playgroup to Year 12.

Job Overview:

Reporting to the ELC Team Leader, this position is responsible for the administrative operations of the Early Learning Centre and delivering the highest level of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

This role actively engages with the school community, students and teaching teams whilst supporting the unique philosophy of our school.

Key Responsibilities:

Reception duties and administrative support for ELC Tours and OSH.

Interact positively with children and families as the first point of contact with the ELC, ensuring the highest standards of customer service.

In consultation with the ELC Team Leader, ensure compliance with ECRU National Laws and Regulations, including documentation and ECRU compliance visits.

In consultation with ELC Finance, assist with management of:

o   Childcare Subsidy with Services Australia

o   OWNA Software (training provided)

o   ELC enrolment and data entry

o   Cash receipting and follow up on outstanding school fee and other accounts

Provide support on the floor (as required) during staff breaks.

Administration of onboarding new students and departing students for ELC.

Provide support to the Team Leader for all ELC events.

Essential Criteria:

Advanced Digital literacy & competency (specifically Microsoft Office, SharePoint and Adobe Creative Suite).

Certificate III in Early Childhood Education (or above).

Ability to think creatively and to work alongside other staff (and children) in a collegial environment.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Police clearance/Working with Children Check.

Desirable Criteria:

Knowledge and understanding of the Childcare Subsidy with Services Australia

Previous experience using OWNA Software

Understanding and experience in a small school environment.

Current motor vehicle driver's licence.
