Job Responsibilities

Join the Telfer team as an EXPERIENCED MEM Boilermaker and be responsible for repairing and fabricating any metal components, Performing weekly bucket and blade condition reports & performing all welding, gouging, cutting or other duties as specified by Supervisor and reporting findings accurately to maintain the safety and reliability standards according to the manufacturer's specifications and requirements. 

About the role

  • FIFO from Perth
  • 2:1 night/day roster
  • 7% market uplift allowance - paid quarterly

About you: 

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within mine site environment;
  • Australian Recognised Trade Certificate; 
  • Demonstrated experience with on- site repairs e.g. excavator bucket and truck tray body rebuilds;
  • Capacity to preform welding (MIG/ TIG/ STICK), air arc gouging, cutting and lancing, accompanied by relevant welding tickets; 
  • Capability to read and work in accordance to engineering drawings and work plans; 
  • Ability to work independently as well as a part of the team; 
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Demonstrating commitment to Macmahon safety culture and values; and 
  • Current C Class Drivers Licence.
