Role Description

As an Electrical Apprentice at True Local Electricians, you'll assist our licensed electricians in delivering top-tier residential & commercial electrical services across the Sutherland Shire & greater Sydney. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Assisting with installations, maintenance, and repairs of electrical systems in residential homes and commercial properties
• Following safety protocols and ensuring compliance with Australian standards
• Maintaining tools, equipment, and workspaces
• Communicating effectively with team members and clients

You'll be expected to attend TAFE or other approved training as part of your apprenticeship, and we'll support your learning every step of the way. We value initiative, curiosity, and a strong work ethic—so if you're eager to learn and grow, we want to hear from you.

Required Skills

• Current enrolment in a recognised electrical apprenticeship 1st to 4th year
• A valid White Card Construction Induction
• Basic understanding of electrical safety and tools
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
• Reliable transport to meet tradesman at start point Sutherland Shire

Preferred Skills

While not essential, the following will be highly regarded:

• Previous experience in residential or commercial electrical work
• Familiarity with hand and power tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to take initiative and learn independently
• Great work ethic and reliability
• A current driver's licence
