Experienced Plumber Wanted – Maintenance & Renovations (Subcontractor / Full-Time Opportunity)

We're a growing plumbing business based in Melbourne's inner north-west, and we're on the lookout for an experienced maintenance and renovation plumber to join our team.

We're after more than just skills — we want someone respectful, humble, and reliable. Someone who takes pride in their work, treats clients and homes with care, and understands that reputation is everything in this trade.

This is a long-term opportunity for the right person — with the chance to become our main plumber and help shape the future of the business as we grow.

About the Role:

  • General maintenance plumbing: hot water, fixture replacements, gas, drainage, minor rooflong
  • Renovation rough-ins and fit-offs: bathrooms, kitchens, laundries
  • Residential and light commercial work
  • Work is mostly in Inner North-West Melbourne (e.g. Essendon, Moonee Ponds, Brunswick West), but we service all of Greater Melbourne
  • Mix of booked work and the occasional urgent job
  • Start as a subcontractor (ABN) 1 to 2 days a week, with option to move into a full-time lead role if it suits both sides

What We're Looking For:

  • Plumber (VBA Registered) with solid experience in both maintenance and renovations
  • Own Ute and tools
  • High attention to detail and takes ownership of jobs
  • Humble and respectful — with clients, team, and on-site
  • Communicates clearly and calmly, especially when things don't go to plan
  • Able to work solo but also happy to help train or work alongside others
  • Gas licence preferred (not essential)

Pay: From $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 38 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
