Position Description - Community Engagement Officer

Key responsibilities

Reporting to the Team Leader, Community Engagement, you will:

  • Implement community engagement strategies, activities and initiatives that encourage genuine and meaningful involvement from our community.
  • Provide expert advice to internal teams on best practice engagement.
  • Develop creative online and offline engagement tools and information.
  • Analyse and interpret community feedback and prepare clear, accessible outcome reports.
  • Support projects that deliver wellbeing outcomes by ensuring our community has opportunities to have their say on matters that affect them.
About you

The successful candidate will have:

  • South Australian Class C Driver's Licence.
  • Hold and maintain a valid DHS Working with Children Check.
  • International Association of Public Participation (IAP2) Certificate of Engagement (or willingness to obtain).
  • Be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment and police check.
