Casimir Catholic College, Marrickville is a co-educational Catholic secondary school serving students in Years 7 through 12, with a student body of approximately 850.

Our hope is to bring an experienced, dynamic teacher who is passionate about making a difference in students' lives in to our community.

The successful applicant will join the school with a focus on providing quality Catholic education, maximising student outcomes by offering a rich, relevant and holistic curriculum that is student centred, flexible and challenging.

This full-time, temporary role is scheduled to commence immediately or by negotiation. Flexibility to discuss and negotiate a part-time load. We welcome applications from recent graduates as well.

About You

As a Teacher - Learning Support, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.

To excel in this role, you will be able to:

• create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students
• demonstrate the ability and qualifications to teach Learning Support. The ability to teach an additional subject is advantageous
• utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
• employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
• support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
• demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
• integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences.

You will have attained:

• a tertiary qualification in Education
• eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
