Competitive salary and benefits:

We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements ( ).

• Salary range: $71,234 to $75,602 p.a. / Casual: $44.90 to $47.66 p.h. (Nurse Grade 3)
• 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
• 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
• Plus Salary Sacrificing ( ) options may be available
• Flexible working arrangements available

About your opportunity

Eventide Residential Aged Care Facility is a Queensland Health managed aged care service within the Townsville Hospital and Health Service (HHS) and is located at Charters Towers. Eventide provides care for 70 residents with 25 places for dementia care, 10 places for pyscho-geriatric care and 35 places for older persons who require care due to fragility and complex care needs.

Requirements:

Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration

• Qualification: Diploma of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory.
• Nursing: Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.
• Shift Workers: Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster, which will include participation in an on-call roster.
• Highly Desirable: Successful completion of modules related to medication administration and peripheral intravenous (IV) therapy.
• This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
