The Hotel

Stamford Plaza Sydney Airport is a 315 room 5 star Hotel located in Mascot near the Sydney domestic airport and home to our very own La Boca Restaurant and Bar specializing in Argentinean cuisine and 11 Function rooms - ideal for a wide range of events from small meetings to 300 plus large conferences.

Our excellent service and accommodation set us apart from our competitors and provide guests with the best in hospitality experience from the moment they walk through the door.

We are currently seeking dedicated and versatile Food and Beverage Attendants and Banquet Attendants, to join our team as all-rounders across our various outlets.

All our Food & Beverage Attendants are responsible for providing 5 Star customer service to our guests. Working closely with the Food & Beverage Supervisors, you will be responsible for ensuring all guests receive an exceptional Food and Beverage experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Minimum of 1 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within a 5-star or premium hospitality environment
  • Ability to work a flexible roster, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Deliver exceptional food and beverage service in a professional and efficient manner
  • Understand the menu, offer suggestions, and up-sell food and beverage items
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with flair
  • Be one step ahead of the guest, knowing what they need before having to ask
  • Re-stock fridges to par levels, store and ensure the outlet is correctly stocked in accordance with outlet stock control guidelines
  • A positive & engaging personality

About you

To be successful in this exciting role, the right candidate will have a bright, energetic attitude and most importantly – will love to have fun, in addition to:

  • The ability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts over a seven day roster
  • Previous experience of at least one year in food and beverage service (preferably in Banquets), ideally in a Hotel environment
  • Experience using Micros is an advantage
  • Passionate about people, food and wine
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Immaculate presentation
  • A real go-getter, who can think on their feet
  • Availability to work overnight shift
  • Eye for detail
  • Current NSW Recognized Responsible Service of Alcohol is essential
