About the role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to assist in leading our Edge Clothing retail store in Hobart. In this role, responsibilities will include a range of store operations, such as staff supervision and customer service. This is a full-time position based in our Hobart store.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading retail sales associates, ensuring excellent customer service and store presentation
  • Day-to-day operations of the store, such as opening and closing procedures, cash management, and loss prevention
  • Implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet store targets
  • Manage inventory levels, and visual merchandising to optimise sales
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant legislation

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as an assistant retail store manager, preferably within the fashion or apparel industry
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing an outstanding shopping experience
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively
  • Proficient in using retail management systems
