About the Role – Enterprise Reporting Advisor
The Enterprise Reporting Advisor is responsible for transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights that support strategic and operational decision-making across STC. This position works closely with internal stakeholders, including teams and functions with reporting obligations to ensure accurate and timely information delivery.
The role requires advanced expertise in analytics and business intelligence tools, coupled with strong communication skills, to provide leadership with reliable data for planning and performance management. A commitment to continuous improvement is essential, with responsibilities including enhancing data quality, streamlining reporting processes, and aligning outputs with evolving organisational priorities.
Key Role Responsibilities
- Design and maintain enterprise reporting frameworks that support STC's strategic priorities and meet government standards.
- Turn complex data into clear, actionable insights using advanced analytics and visualisation tools.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to define reporting needs and deliver innovative, efficient solutions.
- Ensure data integrity and governance by setting standards, resolving quality issues, and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Provide expert advice on BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and collaborate with IT to enhance automation and integration.
- Represent STC with external partners and agencies, ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Professional Experience
- Tertiary qualification in data analytics, computer science, business, or related field, or equivalent experience, with strong understanding of public sector reporting and governance.
- Proven experience in enterprise reporting, data visualisation, and data management using tools like Power BI or Tableau, plus proficiency in SQL, Python, or R.
- Advanced analytical skills to interpret complex datasets, apply data governance principles, and ensure data quality and integrity.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and a continuous improvement mindset to deliver scalable, automated reporting solutions.
