General Manager – Casino Operations | The Ville Resort-Casino
We're seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager – Casino Operations to lead all aspects of our casino operations. As a key member of our Executive Team at The Ville Precinct, you'll be responsible for ensuring operational excellence and the delivery of a world-class gaming experience.
This role is pivotal in driving our transformation journey—providing strategic direction to support the evolution of gaming technologies and systems, contributing to the strong culture of compliance, safer gambling, AML/CTF and casino reform initiatives, and ensuring sustainable and successful casino operations.

About the role
As the General Manager of Casino Operations, you'll be at the forefront of transformation projects, working closely with regulators, vendors, and internal teams to deliver results that matter and embed a culture of compliance and service with care.
Your key focus areas will include:
Casino Operations, Compliance & Performance
- Develop and lead the implementation of sustainable casino operations and high-performing business activities in gaming.
- Champion a compliance-first culture that fosters 'doing the right thing' and ensures gaming operations meet and, where possible, exceed legislative obligations and regulatory body expectations.
- Deliver customer-centric service that promotes genuine customer care, safer gambling practices and maintains the highest standards of safety for our customers and team.
Promoting Good Governance & Management Reporting
- Prepare insightful reports for the Board and Executive Management Team.
- Fulfill committee responsibilities with appropriate care, diligence and accountability.
Strategic Transformation
- Lead business-critical transformation projects that relate to casino functions.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver successful change initiatives on time and within budget.
- Engage with regulators, external partners and customers to maintain social awareness of industry best practice, casino reform and gaming operations.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline.
- Over 5 years of proven experience in casino operations.
- 5+ years in leadership roles, with a strong track record in managing and mentoring teams.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, database systems, and casino-specific platforms such as Tangam and Casino Management Software.
- In-depth knowledge of the gaming industry and its regulatory frameworks, with a commitment to upholding compliance and ethical standards.
