Mill House Medical Centre is a general practice clinic looking for Expressions of Interest from Registered and Enrolled Nurses to join our dynamic nursing team.

* Opportunity to be permanent for the right candidate*

Reporting directly to the Practice Principals, some of your responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with doctors and healthcare professionals
  • Assisting doctors with procedures in treatment room
  • Chronic disease management – Care Planning
  • Stock management/maintaining the inventory level/vaccine stock management
  • Stocking doctors rooms
  • Assisting the Administration team
  • Other responsibilities outlined in our Practice Nurse Position Description

Essential Attributes

  • Current registration with APHRA
  • Ability to be self-organised
  • Ability to manage a busy treatment room
  • Current CPR Certificates (within 1 year)
  • Current Working with Children Check (within 5 years)

Desired Attributes

  • Competency with computers i.e. Microsoft Windows Operating System, Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in a General Practice setting (not essential)
  • Experience with Medical Software (preferably Medical Director/Pracsoft)
  • Immunisation Experience
