About the role

Westside Radiology is seeking an experienced Locum Radiographer to join our team in Far West NSW on a contract or locum basis. Flight and accommodation covered. As a Locum Radiographer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients, working closely with our multidisciplinary healthcare team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute your expertise to a leading provider of medical imaging services.

What you'll be doing

1. Performing a variety of radiographic examinations, including Xrays, CT scans, and bone densitometry.
2. Ensuring the accurate and timely acquisition of diagnostic images
3. Providing exceptional patient care and customer service
4. Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records
5. Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and radiation safety protocols
6. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care

What we're looking for

1. Recognised tertiary qualification in medical radiation science or equivalent
2. Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
3. Demonstrated experience as a Radiographer, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting
4. Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques, equipment, and procedures
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
6. Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and customer service
7. Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
