Cutting List

We're a busy joinery and furniture manufacturer based in Bankstown, looking for a detail-focused person with solid joinery or cabinetmaking experience who's confident using Homag iX suite (AutoCAD-based) software to produce accurate cutting lists and production documentation for our workshop team.

You'll work closely with the Production Manager, project managers, and suppliers to make sure every job is fully documented, accurate, and ready for smooth manufacturing — from detailed working drawings through to CNC setup and purchasing.

• Create detailed and accurate cutting lists using iX software
• Produce working drawings, CNC files, and production documentation for the factory
• Prepare Bill of Materials (BOMs) for purchasing and material take-offs
• Interpret drawings and design intent to ensure build accuracy
• Communicate with project managers and suppliers to clarify project details and specifications
• Check materials, finishes, grain direction, and edging details before release to production
• Update documentation when design or site changes occur
• Support production planning by ensuring jobs are production-ready and compliant with company standards

• Experience in joinery, cabinetry or furniture manufacturing
• Proficiency with iX software (AutoCAD-based) — experience with Cabinet Vision, Pytha or similar also highly regarded
• Strong understanding of joinery methods, materials, and manufacturing processes
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and design documentation
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• High attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality
