About the Role

We currently have two Software Developer opportunities available within our dynamic technology team. In these roles, you will be responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and developing Fiducian's in-house systems. Working within a collaborative and experienced group, you will design, build, and support software solutions that are robust, secure, and scalable, directly contributing to Fiducian's operational excellence and strategic goals.

These are hands-on roles ideal for developers who enjoy end-to-end involvement — from solution design through to deployment — within a professional, supportive, and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain Fiducian's in-house systems in line with business and technical requirements.
  • Produce high-quality, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Implement solutions using .NET Web API, MVC, ASP.NET, Web Forms, and WinForms.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Stored Procedures, T-SQL, Database Design, and Entity Framework (EF).
  • Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns to deliver scalable, efficient solutions.
  • Conduct unit and system testing to ensure reliability and compliance with requirements.
  • Support version control, configuration management, and deployment activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and uphold Fiducian's IT, data, and security standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes within agreed timeframes.

Desired Qualifications and Competencies

  • Minimum 5 years' professional experience in C# and SQL Server development.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Proven ability to learn complex business logic and deliver reliable, timely solutions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills within an Agile development environment.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and version control practices.
  • Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and ownership of assigned tasks.
  • Exposure to IIS, Windows Server, and deployment processes (advantageous).
