Downer has been awarded the Property and Asset Services (PAS) contract to deliver base and estate services across their two largest regions NSW/ACT and QLD. This is a significant milestone for our business and our enduring 80+ year relationship with the Australian Defence Force.

What You'll Do
This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:
Perform general plumbing maintenance and minor upgrade works in accordance with PAS service definitions
Maintain and repair water supply, sewerage, drainage and other plumbing systems across the base
Undertake backflow prevention and thermostatic mixing valve testing where certified
Respond promptly to service requests and urgent repairs
What You'll Bring
Certificate III in Plumbing (or equivalent)
NSW Plumbing Licence (NSW)
Post-trade experience in plumbing maintenance, preferably in a facilities or Defence environment
Demonstrated ability to perform plumbing system maintenance, drainage and water system management
Backflow Prevention Certification and Gas Work Licence (Type A) (desirable)
Current Open Driver's Licence.
Ability to obtain and retain Defence Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required)
