About us

Tropical designs is a long trading, fast paced signage company.

We produce a diverse range of signage ranging from Real Estate to Vehicle wraps.

We work alongside Sign management companies from interstate such as Sign Manager.

Tropical is the largest sign producing company within 150km so extremely busy.

Current owners have managed the business since 2005.

We are based in the beautiful Whitsundays where your days off can be spent in the hills 4 wheel driving or out on a boat/jetski enjoying our environment.

We have a half day every Friday so we can kick start off our weekends

Qualifications & experience

• Ability to lay out vinyl and to install onto various surfaces.
• Ability to problem solve with support from team.
• CNC Routing experience - desired but not essential.
• Vehicle/Vessel wraps - desired but not essential.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Applicants need to be confident and able to produce a high standard of signage.
• Quality control and attention to detail.
• Able to oversee Apprentice.
• Ability to work in a face paced and at times chaotic environment.
• Work within a team to organise the jobs for the day and upcoming days.
• Keeping the workshop area clean and tidy. Constructive criticism on how to improve the working area welcomed.
• Willing to share techniques and tips to workmates including apprentice if one employed.
