We Lay Tiles Pty Ltd is a leading tiling company on the Sunshine Coast known for high-quality workmanship, reliability, and exceptional customer service. With a strong pipeline of residential and commercial projects, we are seeking a skilled Floor & Wall Tiler to join our growing team.

About the Role

This is a full-time position responsible for all aspects of floor and wall tiling across new builds, renovations, and commercial installations. You will work across a variety of sites with a focus on precision, quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Measuring surfaces and preparing work areas
  • Cutting, laying, and installing tiles to industry standards
  • Applying waterproofing membranes where applicable
  • Grouting, sealing, and finishing work to a high standard
  • Reading and interpreting plans
  • Ensuring all work complies with Australian Standards and WHS requirements
  • Maintaining tools, equipment, and a clean work environment

Requirements

To be considered, you must have:

A relevant Apprenticeship or Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling (or equivalent)

At least two (2) years of full-time, relevant work experience

Strong attention to detail and workmanship

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Current driver's licence (highly regarded)

White Card (or ability to obtain)
