Medical Waste Driver

Roster: Initial 3 Month Casual duration with potential to move to permanent direct with the client | Working Monday to Friday, 8–12-hour shifts from 12am to 5pm with occasional weekend and PH work available.

Location: Yatala, QLD

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Engage in physically demanding tasks, including the lifting and movement of heavy medical waste bins up to 30kg
  • Safely and punctually deliver medical waste bins to various healthcare facilities and collection points according to assigned routes and schedules.
  • Efficiently load and unload medical waste bins onto and from the delivery vehicle
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
  • Follow established safety procedures and protocols to minimize risk
  • Effectively communicate with the dispatch team, supervisors, and other relevant personnel to relay information about deliveries, delays, or any other issues that may arise

Licences and Skills

  • HR Drivers Licence (Essential)
  • Forklift Licence (Desirable)
  • Police Check
  • Good work ethic
  • Ability to lift and move heavy bins up to 30kg
  • Commitment to safety
