An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Visual Communication Design (VCD) Teacher to join our College community on a part time (FTE of 0.80), ongoing basis from Term 1, 2026.

Reporting to the Head of Learning – Visual Arts, this role will be responsible for teaching Visual Communication Design and Visual Arts subjects across Years 7 to 12 in a collaborative and progressive environment. 

To be successful in this opportunity you will require: 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Education.
  • Current VIT Registration.
  • A current knowledge of the Australian Curriculum (Visual Communication Design) and/or IB Curriculum.
  • Previous experience teaching VCE Visual Communication Design.
  • Knowledge of contemporary pedagogy and innovative use of ICT in the classroom to enrich learning.
  • Well-developed classroom management strategies which enhance student engagement and outcomes.
  • Be an active contributor to a collegial work environment.
  • Willingness to uphold the ethos and values of the College.
