The Opportunity
We are seeking a Assistant in Nursing to support our Day Surgery department.
This role would be well suited to an AIN or a 2nd Year Nursing Undergraduate with an interest in theatres or surgical nursing. Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.

To succeed in this role, you will be a positive and effective team player with strong clinical and interpersonal skills. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be committed to providing patient-focused care.
You will also demonstrate:
- Certificate III in Health Services Assistance or be currently enrolled as a 2nd or 3rd year Registered Nursing student.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively according to directions
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills
- High level of customer service and excellent time management skills
- Understanding of infection control principles
Remuneration: Base Hourly Rates in accordance with Enterprise Agreement + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
