Mercury IT currently has an opening for an experienced Senior IT Technician for a full-time role. This role is an onsite role working within our client's site in Maroochydore.

About the Role:

Senior IT Technicians are responsible for resolving Level 1 and 2 support requests

This role will be located onsite in Maroochydore, however the client has multiple sites across the Sunshine Coast, Wide Bay and Burnett region and travel to these sites will also be required from time to time

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience
  • Experience with Windows Server OS and infrastructure
  • Active Directory
  • Backup solutions
  • Well presented
  • Excellent work ethic
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and to make independent decisions
  • Highly developed problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build and support professional relationships
  • A police background check will be required for this role

Desirable skills and proficiencies:

  • Relevant current industry certifications (Microsoft, ITIL, Cisco, Citrix, VMware or other certs) in particular: MCSA, MCSE, VCP or CCP
  • Previous MSP experience including support tools such as Autotask PSA and RMM (or similar)
