Drone Pilot / Field Operator
– Forestry, Burning & Environmental Work
Based in Central VIC
Full-time | Early starts + some nights away
On Point Drones is expanding and we're looking for a skilled and practical Drone Pilot to join our team working across forestry, environmental, and land management projects.
We use large drones for spraying, aerial burning, mapping, and sling-load operations.
About the role:
You'll be hands-on in the field, helping with a variety of drone operations and support work, including:
Drone spraying and mapping
Koala and environmental surveys
Aerial burning and ignition operations
Sling-load and tree delivery
Field setup, refuelling, and maintenance
Early starts and a overnight required for Koala Monitoring projects
What we're looking for:
Experienced or confident drone pilot (training available for the right person)
Good with hands-on, practical work
Happy working outdoors in all weather
Reliable, safety-focused, and a team player
Full driver's licence (manual preferred)
Willing to travel and stay away when needed
Bonus points if you have:
CASA RePL (or interest in getting one)
Experience with spraying or heavy-lift drones
Forestry, farming or environmental background
4WD or machinery experience
