Role Overview:
The Associate Creative Director role is for those who thrives on storytelling and rapid ideation, with experience leading and designing the overall look and feel of a campaign, able to bring to life design and brand principles across complex multi-channel projects. This role is perfect for someone who can generate bold, shareable ideas quickly, bring them to life visually, and stay hands-on throughout the creative process.
You'll work closely with the Creative Director and project management team, taking ownership of the visual style and imagery for a range of clients, managing the process from initial mock-ups through to final delivery ensuring outputs are aligned to the client brand and overall vision. You'll thrive in collaborative environments and is comfortable on set, working with the wider team leadership to deliver high-impact, social-led campaigns that resonate with audiences and drive engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Concept and execute social-first creative ideas across video, still, and emerging formats.
- Develop compelling narratives and visual storytelling that align with brand strategy and cultural trends.
- Meet client expectations through high-quality visual outputs aligned with brand messaging.
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to translate client needs into an overall brand and design vision.
- Conceptualise and produce online and offline collateral aligned with client goals.
- Push creative boundaries of the client brand through innovation.
- Educate clients on the strategy and approach behind a chosen creative approach.
- Ensure brand consistency while offering a fresh look and feel.
- Active involvement in new business and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure smooth workflow, while they handle timelines and budgets.
- Be available for on-site and location shoots (video and still), providing creative direction and ensuring the vision is executed flawlessly.
- Stay ahead of social media trends, platform updates, and audience behaviours to keep work fresh and relevant.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 5+ years in creative roles (agency or in-house), with strong experience in social-first campaigns.
- A portfolio showcasing storytelling, rapid ideation, and social-led content.
- Proficiency in Adobe CC; familiarity with video editing and motion tools a bonus.
- Strong understanding of social platforms, formats, and best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and pivot quickly when needed.
