YOUR ROLE

Join our Townsville and Mackay based Field Inspection team as a Mobile Service Technician with full training provided. You'll be inspecting and testing lifting and rigging equipment, producing chain slings and wire ropes, issuing test reports to NATA and ISO standards, and working both on site and in our workshop. You'll enjoy the freedom to work independently, backed by a supportive manager and collaborative team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Inspecting lifting, rigging, and height safety equipment on site and in house
  • Producing and testing chain slings and wire ropes
  • Completing and issuing compliance test reports
  • Travelling to client sites, including mines, with paid overtime and travel allowances
  • Supporting production and warehouse tasks when required

ABOUT YOU

You're mechanically minded, ideally with a background in production, manufacturing, or equipment servicing. Experience in lifting, rigging, or height safety is highly regarded, along with:

  • Relevant rigging qualifications and knowledge of WH&S regulations
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Willingness to travel and work flexibly, including outside standard hours
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing tasks
  • A proactive, team focused approach
