Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Lawyer, based in Southport on the Gold Coast, Queensland. The role involves managing and overseeing a diverse personal injury claims, including WorkCover claims, CTP (motor vehicle accident) claims, Public Liability claims, medical negligence claims, and TPD claims.

The Lawyer will be responsible for providing strategic legal advice, managing matters from intake through to resolution, and representing clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings.

Qualifications

  • Completed LLB or JD, with Practical Legal Training (PLT) completed or currently underway
  • Eligible for admission, or admitted to practise in Queensland
  • Strong proficiency in legal research, legal drafting, and litigation skills
  • Experience in client advocacy, negotiation, and dispute resolution
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication and well-developed interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage complex matters and perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Experience in compensation / personal injury law will be highly regarded
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities will be highly regarded
