We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal for our legal team based in Sydney. This role is a part time role however candidates seeking a full time role may be considered based on experience.

The role

Working in tandem with internal lawyers and our Leasing and Franchising Coordinator, you will take a key role in supporting Foodco's extensive franchising portfolio across Australia, including:

Preparing and managing franchise documents for new franchisees, as well as renewals and variations

  • Supporting updates to the franchise disclosure document and other document templates
  • Assisting with store sales (company owned and franchisees) including preparation of sale documents, consents, settlement information etc.
  • Track documentation status using established trackers, registers and databases, including Salesforce
  • Coordination of document execution with external parties, internal stakeholders etc.
  • Managing archiving
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient and effective client service delivery

In addition to this, you will support with other projects and administrative matters as allocated.

About you

  • Minimum 1-2 years paralegal experience, ideally within franchising or contract management and in an in-house environment.
  • Proficient in Office applications and ideally experience with Salesforce and Docusign.
  • You'll have a meticulous attention to detail and a service- centric approach.
  • Excellent organisation, drafting and document management skills.
  • Motivated and able to work autonomously, and ability to juggle competing priorities.
