Apprentice Greenkeeper – C.ex Urunga Golf Club

Do you enjoy working outdoors, operating machinery, and taking pride in well-presented grounds?

C.ex Urunga Golf Club, home to a scenic 9-hole golf course and croquet lawn, is looking for a reliable and motivated Groundsperson to join our team.

This is a practical, hands-on role where you'll assist with the day-to-day maintenance and presentation of the course and facilities. Working as part of a small, supportive team, you'll get to be involved in all aspects of grounds and turf care — no two days are the same

Your Key Responsibilities

• Assist with mowing, trimming, and general turf maintenance
• Help maintain the croquet lawn and golf course playing surfaces
• Operate and care for turf maintenance equipment and irrigation systems
• Assist with fertilising, watering, and pest control
• Support small projects and improvements around the course
• Ensure safe and tidy grounds and facilities for members and visitors

What We're Looking For

• Enjoys hands-on outdoor work in all weather
• Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in their work
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Basic mechanical aptitude or willingness to learn
• Current manual driver's licence required
