ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will manage a highly functional caseload while performing key leadership duties essential to establishing the new clinics.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Leadership & Mentorship: Provide formal and informal mentorship to new OTs joining the team and act as a clinical resource for complex cases.
  • Complex Caseload Management: Deliver expert assessment and intervention focusing on complex functional capacity, home modifications, and complex equipment prescription.
  • Service Development: Lead the implementation of best practice guidelines and multidisciplinary team collaboration across the Bankstown and Cranebrook locations.
  • Local Networking: Proactively engage with local stakeholders (Hospitals, NDIS organisations, schools) to build the local service's reputation and referral base.
  • Inter-Clinic Management: Efficiently manage your schedule and travel between the two clinic sites (local travel reimbursement provided).
  • Optional Outreach: Elective opportunities to participate in short-term flying outreach trips if seeking clinical variety

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of 3+ years of post-graduate clinical experience (essential for Senior role).
  • Recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy and full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex cases and provide clinical supervision/mentorship.
  • Current NSW Driver's License and access to reliable transport for inter-clinic travel.
  • Relevant NDIS screening checks (or willingness to obtain before commencement).
