Senior Structural Drafter - Sydney

The Role

You'll be responsible for:

  • Producing detailed and accurate structural drawings for residential projects using
    AutoCAD
    .
  • Working closely with engineers and project leads to ensure documentation aligns with design intent and Australian standards.
  • Reviewing and coordinating drawings to maintain a high level of accuracy and clarity.
  • Managing drafting tasks efficiently while working remotely three days per week.
  • As the company grows, you will play a role in supporting junior drafters and helping improve internal drafting systems and standards.

About You

  • Strong background in
    structural drafting
    , ideally with residential project experience.
  • Advanced
    AutoCAD
    skills — you're fast, accurate, and detail-oriented.
  • Revit experience not required but may be preferrable for future projects.
  • Sound understanding of structural documentation practices and construction detailing.
  • Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing your own workload.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within a small, supportive team.
